Welcome to Whitmere Stud

We are a small stud aiming to breed show ponies and galloways of the highest quality.
In 2009, Turberry Tom Kitten was imported from England. Tom’s sire, Cusop Dimension, is a leading sire of show ponies in the UK, having produced champions all across England at major shows, including the Horse of  the Year Show.
Also residing at Whitmere is Pendley Gold Cup (imp). We showed this superb pony for major wins including Supreme at Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra Royals. He is now producing Pony of the Year and Royal Champions throughout Australia and New Zealand. Gold Cup is owned by Terry and Leonie Walsh of Brookville Stud.
We love to show the ponies very lightly in-hand, always mindful that the priority and long-term plan is for them to be ridden ponies.
The stud has bought and bred what we consider beautiful broodmares, many of which have been successful ridden show ponies. Our mares are strongly based on imported English bloodlines.
We welcome visitors to the stud and look forward to catching up, showing you the ponies, and perhaps enjoying a drink!
